I’m sure you’ve heard of hot tubs, jacuzzis and whirlpool baths. Think of any of these and you’ll usually think of a bubbly bath of one description or another.
As most people know, hot tubs tend to be bigger than jacuzzis or whirlpool baths. Hot tubs tend to seat atleast 4 whereas for jacuzzi baths or whirlpool baths, very often these are for 2 only maximum and sometimes just have enough space for 1.
Whirlpool baths and jacuzzi baths also tend to be found indoors in bathrooms. Whereas hot tubs can be found in different locations. Some people have a specific hot tub room or spa to house their hot tub but it is not at all unusual for hot tubs to be located on verandahs or outside under a cover or outside in an outdoor building of some description.
The one thing that all these types of bubbly baths have in common is that they all aim to relax you. Most people would agree that no matter whether you bathe in a hot tub, a jacuzzi or a whirlpool bath, these kind of baths or tubs are by their very nature relaxing.
Remember when using any of these types of bath to follow safety precautions, read all manuals and heed the instructions.
Hot tubs should be regularly disinfected. If you are in any doubt when you are staying in a cottage as to when the hot tub was last disinfected do ask.
